This Creamy Shrimp Linguine is very demure! We’ve added our Herbalicious Seasoning and Dip Mix to this classic dish, with a splash of our favourite white wine, creating an effortlessly sophisticated and delicious pasta dish, ideal for seafood aficionados!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of linguine noodles
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- ½ cup of shallots
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1 pound large shrimp, roughly 20 shrimp, peeled and deveined (we used Red Argentine Shrimp)
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice (roughly 2 lemons)
- ½ cup of white wine
- ½ cup of cream
- Lemon zest, from ½ of a large lemon
- 2 tbsp of Spyce Girlz Herbalicious Seasoning and Dip Mix
Instructions:
- Boil water in a large pot. Add a little bit of salt to the boiling water and cook the linguine according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, add the butter and olive oil to an extra-large pan over medium-low heat. Once the butter has melted, add the shallots and garlic and sauté for 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the shrimp and sauté until they turn pink, about 5 minutes. (If you are using Red Argentine shrimp like we did, it will already be pink to begin with).
- Add in the lemon juice and white wine. Let it simmer for a minute or so and then add in the cream.
- Add the lemon zest and Spyce Girlz Herbalicious Seasoning and Dip Mix. Stir it all together.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain the water and add the noodles to the sauté pan. Toss to combine, ensuring that it is coated evenly. Serve and Enjoy (with a glass of the remaining white wine!)
