Today we are cooking up some flavourful Italian Meatballs. You can add meatballs to your pasta, soup, sandwiches, or enjoy on their own!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup of plain bread crumbs, or panko*
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 lb of ground beef*
- 1 lb of ground pork*
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 bunch of fresh chopped parsley
- 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
- 2 tbsp of Spyce Girlz Pizzazz Seasoning
- Sprinkle of salt at the end (if desired)
Instructions:
- Soak bread crumbs in a small bowl of milk for 20 minutes
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add in your onion. Stir and cook until soft, for about 5 minutes. Reduce the heat and stir until the onion is tender, roughly 15 minutes more.
- In a large bowl, combine your sauteed onions, garlic, breadcrumbs (that have been soaked in milk), Parmesan cheese, parsley, Spyce Girlz Pizzazz Seasoning, and 2 eggs.
- Mix well using your hands (gloves recommended) or spatula. Then place in the fridge for an hour.
- Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Roll mixture into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven at 425 for 20 - 25 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Flip halfway through.
- Add a sprinkle of salt if desired.
- Serve on pasta, in a sandwich, or alone. Enjoy!
